Bahasa Melayu or Malaysia?

It is a great thing your college is located in the heart of the city. Know why?
Because public transportation is so convenient where ever and when ever you go!
KLCC, Mid Valley, Pavillion, Times Square, Sungei Wang, Pyramids... just a step away!
=)

HuiTingTankie, HenryFlappy and JasonPinky and I went to Times Square to have tea @ Subway!

4 Nerds from law school.
Huiting is the bookworm, Henry is the gedik guy, Jason is the geek and I look like a nerd.=)
Me : Eh! Jason I can see you leh!
Jason: Oh yeah!!! (walked closer to the screen)
Henry : Eh! We are on TV!!! Faster take picture!! Faster!!
HuiTing : ZzZzZZzZzZzZzz

Henry is usual la, very hao lian.

We walked around and ended up in the digital mall where I heard Jason was asking around
" Do you have the LADIES BOOBS pen drive here?"

It took me quite a while to realise he was actually saying "Latest Boost pendrive."
Daym sweat la ok. hehe.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back to initial point of me posting up this post.

I attended the 3rd annual MSLS last weekend. A few sensitive issue arised and panel speakers were given the opportunity to enlighten us about it and I shall state my own perspective regarding these issues.

1. Should our national language be addressed as Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Malaysia?
Oh c'mon. We have lived, eat, shit and sleep in this motherland of ours speaking a language for hundreds of years and now you can't even decide what to name it!? Ridiculous can? In fact, it shouldn't be a point to argue to begin with!!
P/s: I won't be quoting what exactly the speakers said simply because I can't remember exact words but I'll try to convey their messages as accurate and similar as possible.

When someone questioned whether it should be called Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Malaysia, one of the speaker responded in a manner in such I did not favor. He said that we should call it Bahasa Melayu. Reason behind this is because even in Brunei they speak the Malay language so it is unfair to dominate it as our own Bahasa Malaysia .He also state that even though the Indonesians speak Bahasa Indonesia, it still narrows down from the original roots of the Malay Language.

Can anyone tell me what cock is he talking?
The government emphasized so much on national identity, building multimillion buck high rising towers to gain acknowledgment of the world but too afraid to even proclaim their national language as Bahasa Malaysia because other country speaks the same? Oh c'mon. It is our national language and it should be called BAHASA MALAYSIA! We speak the Malay language here so does that mean Brunei can never claim their national language as Bahasa Brunei? Do we necessaryly have to share the same BAHASA MELAYU with others as our national language? Where is our own Malaysian identity then?
We all know the Indonesian language is relatively the develpoment of the Malay language and so is our national language but why are the Indonesians so proud to adress their language as Bahasa Indonesia and we as Malaysia still struggling to identify the way our own national language should be called?

Eh! Urgency.. I've gotta run. Will continue.
And I shall end here.
