And I'm finally back from Penang!
Honestly, the trip wasn't as fun as I expected it to turn out.
It rained from the day we started our journey right up to the day we left for home.
It is frustrating, really!
The sky was constantly gloomy and how I hate it when the rain drops blurred the view of the car's windscreen.
Day 1 :
Boyfriend drove us all and was constantly complaining how mommie only let him drive at the maximum speed of 80 km/hour. LOL.
Stopped at Ipoh's town to catch up with my uncle and ate at some coffee shop. Reached Seberang Perai at 6 pm.
At night we headed for our usual seafood restaurant for dinner.
The black pepper crab was defo my all time favorite!
Day 2:
Had breakfast and went to pay my grandpa's grave a visit.
I haven't been there ever since I attended the funeral in 1995.
Pwooarrr.. That is like12 years ago sial!
My late grandpa's grave.
In the afternoon, boyfriend and I drove to Penang Island to have some alone time together.
I must say I'm very impressed with their QueensBay mall.
It is like the second Midvalley!!
With brands like forever21, Topshop, Diva, MNG and all it was like heaven if only I had the money. hahaha..
We manage to catch a movie in the cinema- "don't mess with Zohan".
At night, the both of us wanted to go over to the famous Gurney Drive for some local food. And pukimak betul! We spend more than an hour searching our ass off for the place! Road signs were confusing and all the road looked almost the same! Gosh.. it was just terrible. I think we could have died of hunger if boyfriend didn't find the place earlier. It is just stupid to get lost in an island as small as a fucking peanut!
And guess what? The food there weren't as great as it used to be long ago. Plus they over charge the price of everything, taking advantage of the customers knowing that they are not local people. A small plate of fried oyster with egg cost 6 bucks with only 6 pathetic little oyster in it is a bit too much lor. I AM NOT GOING BACK THERE ANYMORE. too bad for them.
lil brat with my nieces!
Day 3 :
Ate breakfast with boyfriend at some small coffee shop in my grandma's kampung. FOOD WAS BLARDY CHEAP I tell you!
A bowl of Jawa mee cost merely RM 2.40.
Pwoarrrrr...
A big bowl of prawn mee only cost RM 2.70.
Double pwoaarrrrr..
Okay. That is sibeh cheap can or not?
In the afternoon, packed our stuff.
And zoomed back home!
And I shall end here.
